Modified Max Effort Bench Day

Gym Temp: 75°
Music: To Speak of Wolves, Dead in the Shadow

Warm up w/ Kettlebell Halos/Presses

3 Board Bench (all reps paused on boards, medium grip - pinkies on 32" rings)
135 x 8
185 x 6
225 x 5
275 x 3
315 x 2
365 x 1
405 x 1
435 x 1
455 x 1
375 x 6

Overhead Push - Press (from rack, did not do clean or snatch due to biceps tear)
195 x 10 sets of 1 rep OTM - "on the minute".

Biceps felt OK, but going to baby it for a while and stay away from using it.  I was supposed to do high rep dumbbell work and battle-ropes but thought there was too much risk of further biceps damage.

Strength training sometimes has its setbacks, just like life.  You can quit or you can continue pushing forward buy just modifying some things.
