I haven’t been working atlas stones all that much lately but I know I got 290 in the past without tacky. This is a new stone that I made recently so it’s very smooth. I refused to allow this stone to remain land-locked so I got out the “Tacky”. Tacky is a very sticky pine tar resin that helps in gripping atlas stones. A little tacky on the hands and forearms (and a little blood) and I finally loaded it on the platform.

They say if you don't bleed once and a while, it's really not strongman training.
