Strongman Day

Strongman day: warm up w/ kettlebell windmills and presses.
Gym temp: 50°
Music: Demon Hunter, Storm the Gates of Hell

Deadlifts
135 x 5
225 x 3
315 x 2
405 x 1
495 x 1
545 x 3 (As soon as I locked out the 3rd rep, the bar slipped out of my hands????)

Standing overhead press (clean 1st rep only)
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5, 5, 5

1 arm barbell snatch (old-time strongman classic)
45 x 1 each arm
65 x 1 each arm
95 x 1 each arm
120 x 0 missed each arm
115 x 1 each arm

5 minutes to glory! (this is my go-to medley when I'm running out of time and want to do some quick strongman conditioning, it used to take only five minutes but I keep adding to it and now it takes about 8-10 minutes, and you may see "visions" when you're done ;)
Barbell yoke walk 305 x 200' w/ turn
Dumbbell farmers walk 100 each hand x 200' w/ turn
Husafelt front carry 100 lbs. plate x 200' w/ turn
Fireman's carry 100 lbs. heavy bag x 100' right shoulder - turn and move bag to left shoulder x 100' back
Sled drag backward 100 x 100' turn
Sled drag forward 100 x 100' back
Kettlebell swings 60 x (20) 10 each arm
Medicine ball slams 20 x 20
Each event is done in quick succession as fast as possible, be sure to have a bucket handy just in case......
