Carb Depletion Training Day

Basically did a 2 hour session training the entire body in hopes of depleting every last ounce of glycogen in my body, priming the muscles to over compensate when I carb load.

All reps were done body-building style (slow, deliberate with the goal of time under tension). After the warm up sets, I did two working sets of about 10-12 reps. Little rest between sets and exercises was taken.

Close-stance Squats @ 225
Calf Raises
Leg Presses @ 445
Dumbbell Stiff-legged Deadlifts @ 70s
Leg Curls @ 110

Pulldowns @ 150
Bent-over Rows @ 205
Seated Rows @ 210
Hammer Curls @ 35s
Rear Lateral Raises @ 10s
Wrist Curls @ 10s

Decline Bench @ 225
Dumbbell Flat Bench @ 85s
Incline Bench @ 185
Overhead Seated Dumbbell Press @ 50s
Triceps Cable Extensions @ 170
Lateral Raises @ 15s

Ab Wheel
Leg Raises

Obviously the weights were very light considering I haven't had more than 30 grams carbs for the past 4 days. I really stressed doing each rep slow and squeezed the muscles hard. The "burn" from the lactic acid was immediate and painful.

Now bring on the carbs.....I plan on consuming around 500 grams of carbs over the next 24 hours! We'll see what happens.
