Top squats (davedraper.com attachment) on 14” box
135x5, 225x3, 315x1, 405x1, 455x1, 500x0 Thought I’d work up to a heavy single today….no luck, I got pinned by 500, thank God for power racks or I’d still be under the bar. I’m still going to continue cutting weight until I get to 300 and then hopefully my strength will come back within a month. Also did leg raises between sets of squats.
15 minutes of kettlebell work with 30 seconds rest between sets:
Halo chop 55x10, 10
Press 65x8, 8 each arm
Windmill 55x3, 3 each side
Clean and jerk 70x5, 5 each arm
Turkish get-up 50x1, 1 each side
Snatch 70x10, 10 each arm............chicken breast and cucumbers just don’t add up to strength and power….man, I’m beat.
