Missed a few days posting

Along with my regular weight training days, I use many smaller work-outs throughout the week to work on my weaknesses, increase hypertrophy, conditioning, technique or whatever else needs work as recommended by the great Louie Simmons from Westside Barbell.

So Tuesday I did some highland games throws:
10 open stone throws with 20 lbs. stone.
10 weight for distance throws with 28 lbs.
5 weight over bar throws with 56 lbs.

Breakfast of Champions = 65 grams Protein!
 Wed:
Gym Temp: 55 degrees
Music: Wolves at the Gate, We are the ones

1 Board bench with an illegal grip (very wide grip with hands outside of the 32" rings)
135x6
225x6
275x3
315x2
340x5
315x6 strength is still not where it should be.

Arm over arm seated 2" rope pulls
60 x 75', 75', 75' (it was pouring out and the rope was very slippery so I went pretty light.)

Husafell stone carry
150 x 100', 100' (again very slippery so I went with the heaviest stone I could get off the ground.)

Thursday I did some grip training with grippers, hub lifts, rolling thunder deadlifts, and sledge hammer work.  Check out Ironmind and Diesel Crew for all your grip training needs.

Fri:
Gym Temp: 60 degrees
Music: Your Memorial, Redirect ("your thoughts are not like mine, your ways extend outside the lines of space and time, redirect my steps toward your light!') If hearing that song doesn't fire you up.....you could be dead. : )

Squats on a 10" box (this is a very low box for me, like sitting on the floor)
135x3
225x2
315x1
365x1
405x1
425x1 strength is improving a little.

Several sets of leg raises between sets of squats.

Sled drags
Forward 125 x 200'
Backward 125x 200'

Lateral raises
20x10
30x10, 10

Crucifix
15 lbs. dumbbells x 1 minute

The most important thing today and everyday is this: John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
