Stoned?

GYM TEMP: 75 degrees
MUSIC: Hands, Creator

Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Dynamic effort bench press (for speed)
245+60 lbs. in chains x 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 my speed was not quite up to par although I got faster as I went. These are done with 1 minute rest between sets. I move my grip in with each set as well.

Arm over arm seated 2” rope pull
260x75’ this was very fast and my grip felt pretty strong.

Husafell carry
240x50’, 25’ I really hate these as they are my worst event along with the Conan’s wheel. Basically anything carried in the front; I’m not very good at. I just can’t seem to catch my breath. Even so, my yard is littered with rocks and stones, man-made and God-made; for throwing, lifting, loading, pressing, and carrying. There’s something about picking a large stone off the ground and walking with it or pressing it overhead that you just can’t get from ordinary exercises. It hearkens back to the time of the manhood stones of old.

240 lbs. chunk of manliness

Atlas Stones

This was meant to be a short training day, not too heavy. It’s all recovery from here until the first contest next week.
